Anti-ST2L antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ST2L antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the IL1RL1 gene, which encodes interleukin 1 receptor like 1. This protein is known to function in immune response pathways and inflammatory response pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of ST2L has a canonical amino acid length of 556 residues and a protein mass of 63.4 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted of cells. Other names for this target antigen include DER4, FIT-1, and IL33R. Some ST2L antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
