Anti-SPLUNC1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SPLUNC1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the BPIFA1 gene, which encodes BPI fold containing family A member 1. This protein is known to function in innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of SPLUNC1 has a canonical amino acid length of 256 residues and a protein mass of 26.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein that is notably expressed in the nasopharynx. Other names for this target antigen include LUNX, NASG, and PLUNC. Indicated applications for SPLUNC1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
