Anti-SAF-3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SAF-3 is a known alias name of the protein MYC associated zinc finger protein, encoded by the MAZ gene in humans. This 477-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of apoptosis and the regulation of transcription, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for SAF-3 include PUR1, Pur-1, and SAF-1. Indicated applications for SAF-3 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
