Anti-P1-MCM3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the P1-MCM3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MCM3 gene, which encodes minichromosome maintenance complex component 3. This protein is known to function in DNA replication, among other biological roles. The human version of P1-MCM3 has a canonical amino acid length of 808 residues and a protein mass of 91 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and chromosomes of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bone marrow and placenta. Other names for this target antigen include HCC5 and P1.h. Western Blot is the most common application for the P1-MCM3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
