Anti-PAC1R antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PAC1R antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ADCYAP1R1 gene, which encodes ADCYAP receptor type I. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and receptor-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of PAC1R has a canonical amino acid length of 468 residues and a protein mass of 53.3 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the adrenal gland and cerebral cortex. Other names for this target antigen include PAC1 and PACAPR.
