Anti-pT3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the pT3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ZNF135 gene, which encodes zinc finger protein 135. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of pT3 has a canonical amino acid length of 658 residues and a protein mass of 75.3 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include ZNF61, ZNF78L1, and pHZ-17.
