Anti-p21-Rac1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target p21-Rac1 is a known alias name of the protein Rac family small GTPase 1, encoded by the RAC1 gene in humans. This 192-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cytoskeleton organization and the morphogenesis of anatomical structure, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of the cell and features glycosylated, ubiquitinated and palmitoylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the bone marrow and breast. Other synonyms for p21-Rac1 include MIG5, MRD48, and TC-25. Western Blot is the most common application for the p21-Rac1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
