Anti-HSJ1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HSJ1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DNAJB2 gene, which encodes DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member B2. This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell growth and the regulation of cell proliferation, among other biological roles. The human version of HSJ1 has a canonical amino acid length of 324 residues and a protein mass of 35.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CMT2T, DSMA5, and HSJ-1. Indicated applications for HSJ1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence.
