Anti-HYPERION antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The HYPERION antigen is another term for the human protein A-kinase anchoring protein 9, encoded by the AKAP9 gene. The protein is reported to be a scaffolding protein that assembles several protein kinases and phosphatases on the centrosome and Golgi apparatus. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 3907 residues and a mass of 453 kilodaltons.
