Anti-MBS85 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MBS85 is a known alias name of the protein protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 12C, encoded by the PPP1R12C gene in humans. This 782-amino acid residue protein is reported to regulate myosin phosphatase activity. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types.
