Anti-HCE1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HCE1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RNGTT gene, which encodes RNA guanylyltransferase and 5'-phosphatase. This protein is known to function in protein dephosphorylation, among other biological roles. The human version of HCE1 has a canonical amino acid length of 597 residues and a protein mass of 68.6 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the heart muscle and liver. Other names for this target antigen include CAP1A and HCE. Indicated applications for HCE1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
