Anti-H2BQ antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target H2BQ is a known alias name of the protein H2B clustered histone 21, encoded by the H2BC21 gene in humans. This 126-amino acid residue protein is an important component of nucleosome. It is localized to the nucleus and chromosomes of the cell and features glycosylated, ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for H2BQ include GL105, H2B, and H2B-GL105. Indicated applications for H2BQ antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
