Anti-HUS1B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein HUS1 checkpoint clamp component B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 278 amino acid residues and a mass of 31 kDa. It is noted to be expressed strongly in testis, less in spleen, thymus, prostate, colon and leukocytes. A member of the HUS1 protein family, HUS1B is known to be involved with DNA repair and DNA replication. Synonyms for this target antigen include HUS1 checkpoint homolog b, hHUS1B, and checkpoint protein HUS1B. HUS1B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the HUS1B antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
