Anti-DNGR1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DNGR1 is a known alias name of the protein C-type lectin domain containing 9A, encoded by the CLEC9A gene in humans. This 241-amino acid residue protein is known to function as a endocytic receptor on a small subset of myeloid cells specialized for the uptake and processing of material from dead cells. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications.
