Anti-CPV1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CPV1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CYP19A1 gene, which encodes cytochrome P450 family 19 subfamily A member 1. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of CPV1 has a canonical amino acid length of 503 residues and a protein mass of 57.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and notably expressed in the placenta. Other names for this target antigen include ARO and ARO1. Western Blot is the most common application for the CPV1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
