Anti-CK1BP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CK1BP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DBNDD2 gene, which encodes dysbindin domain containing 2. This protein is believed to modulate the activity of casein kinase-1. The human version of CK1BP has a canonical amino acid length of 259 residues and a protein mass of 27.7 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be notably expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate and cerebellum. CK1BP is a member of the Dysbindin protein family.
