Anti-EAA2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EAA2 is a known alias name of the protein glutamate ionotropic receptor kainate type subunit 5, encoded by the GRIK5 gene in humans. This 980-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for glutamate. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. The term GRIK2 is another synonym for EAA2. Western Blot is the most common application for the EAA2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
