Anti-CN-IA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CN-IA is a known alias name of the protein 5'-nucleotidase, cytosolic IA, encoded by the NT5C1A gene in humans. This 368-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the hydrolysis of ribonucleotide and deoxyribonucleotide monophosphates, releasing inorganic phosphate and the corresponding nucleoside. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in skeletal muscle. Indicated applications for CN-IA antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
