Anti-DNL antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DNL is a known alias name of the protein deoxyribonuclease 2, lysosomal, encoded by the DNASE2 gene in humans. This 360-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the apoptotic pathway and enucleate erythrocyte differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the lysosomes of the cell and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in monocytes/macrophages. Other synonyms for DNL include AIPCS and DNASE2A. Indicated applications for DNL antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
