Anti-Darp antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Darp antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ANKRD23 gene, which encodes ankyrin repeat domain 23. This protein is known to function in fatty acid metabolism and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of Darp has a canonical amino acid length of 305 residues and a protein mass of 34.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in the skeletal muscle. Indicated applications for Darp antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
