Anti-CPB6 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CPB6 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CYP2B6 gene, which encodes cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily B member 6. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of CPB6 has a canonical amino acid length of 491 residues and a protein mass of 56.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and notably expressed in the liver and small intestine. This target antigen may also be known as CYP2B. Western Blot is the most common application for the CPB6 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
