Anti-ARMS1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ARMS1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CFH gene, which encodes complement factor H. This protein is known to function in proteolysis, among other biological roles. The human version of ARMS1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1231 residues and a protein mass of 139.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein that is notably expressed in the nasopharynx and testis. Other names for this target antigen include AHUS1, AMBP1, and ARMD4. Western Blot is the most common application for the ARMS1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
