Anti-Acvr2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Acvr2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ACVR2A gene, which encodes activin A receptor type 2A. This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of Acvr2 has a canonical amino acid length of 513 residues and a protein mass of 57.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include ACTRII and ACTRII. Western Blot is the most common application for the Acvr2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
