Anti-DNASE1L2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein deoxyribonuclease 1 like 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 299 amino acid residues and a mass of 32.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and is secreted. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is found to be highly expressed in the skin and up-regulated during keratinocytes differentiation. A member of the DNase I protein family, DNASE1L2 is known to be involved with hair follicle development. Synonyms for this target antigen include DNase I homolog protein DHP1, DNase I-like 2, deoxyribonuclease I like 2, and DNAS1L2. DNASE1L2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the DNASE1L2 antibodies listed below. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
