Anti-Peroxisome proliferator activated receptor gamma antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PPARG in humans. The gene may also be known as PPARG1, PPARG2, PPARgamma, CIMT1, GLM1, and PPAR-gamma. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 57.6 kilodaltons in mass. The PPARG marker can be used to identify Alveolar Macrophages CCL3+ Cells, Alveolar Macrophages, Alveolar Macrophages Proliferating Cells, and Alveolar Macrophages Mt+ Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
