Anti-KRT6 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target KRT6 is a known alias name of the protein keratin 72, encoded by the KRT72 gene in humans. This 511-amino acid residue protein is known to have a role in hair formation. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in hair follicles from scalp and eyebrow. Some KRT6 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
