Anti-AGS1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target AGS1 is a known alias name of the protein three prime repair exonuclease 1, encoded by the TREX1 gene in humans. This 314-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the apoptotic pathway and blood vessel development, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane, nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in thymus, spleen, liver, brain, heart, small intestine and colon. Indicated applications for AGS1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
