Anti-Qpc antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Qpc is a known alias name of the protein ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase binding protein, encoded by the UQCRB gene in humans. This 111-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the ubiquinol-cytochrome c oxidoreductase, a multisubunit transmembrane complex that is part of the mitochondrial electron transport chain which drives oxidative phosphorylation. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Indicated applications for Qpc antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
