Anti-POSH antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the POSH antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SH3RF1 gene, which encodes SH3 domain containing ring finger 1. This protein is known to function in the regulation of apoptosis and protein ubiquitination, among other biological roles. The human version of POSH has a canonical amino acid length of 888 residues and a protein mass of 93.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. POSH is a member of the SH3RF protein family.
