Anti-Dysadherin antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Dysadherin is a known alias name of the protein FXYD domain containing ion transport regulator 5, encoded by the FXYD5 gene in humans. This 178-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in down-regulation of E-cadherin which results in reduced cell adhesion. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for Dysadherin include DYSAD, HSPC113, and IWU1. Indicated applications for Dysadherin antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
