Anti-QIL1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the QIL1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MICOS13 gene, which encodes mitochondrial contact site and cristae organizing system subunit 13. This protein is a known component of the MICOS complex, a large protein complex of the mitochondrial inner membrane that plays crucial roles in the maintenance of crista junctions, inner membrane architecture, and formation of contact sites to the outer membrane. The human version of QIL1 has a canonical amino acid length of 118 residues and a protein mass of 13.1 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. QIL1 is a member of the MICOS complex subunit Mic13 protein family. Indicated applications for QIL1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
