Anti-p-53BP1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The p-53BP1 antigen is another term for the human protein tumor protein p53 binding protein 1, encoded by the TP53BP1 gene. The protein is known to function in DNA damage pathways and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1972 residues and a mass of 213.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. Other alias names for p-53BP1 include 53BP1, 53BP1, and TDRD30.
