This protein is known to bind glycerophospholipids in a barrel-like domain and may play a role in cellular lipid transport (By similarity). The human version of Mbc2 has a canonical amino acid length of 1104 residues and a protein mass of 122.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified.
