Anti-S6K2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target S6K2 is a known alias name of the protein ribosomal protein S6 kinase B2, encoded by the RPS6KB2 gene in humans. This 482-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in protein phosphorylation and signal transduction pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for S6K2 include KLS, P70-beta, and P70-beta-1. A number of S6K2 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
