Anti-SA2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SA2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the STAG2 gene, which encodes STAG2 cohesin complex component. This protein is known to function in cell division, among other biological roles. The human version of SA2 has a canonical amino acid length of 1231 residues and a protein mass of 141.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include HPE13, MKMS, and NEDXCF. Indicated applications for SA2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
