Anti-NOSIP antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein nitric oxide synthase interacting protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 301 amino acid residues and a mass of 33.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is found to be expressed in the heart, brain and lung. It is a member of the NOSIP protein family. The NOSIP marker can be used to identify T Helper 17 Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase NOSIP, RING-type E3 ubiquitin transferase NOSIP, eNOS-interacting protein, and CGI-25. NOSIP gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Some NOSIP antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
