Anti-Transthyretin antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TTR in humans. The Transthyretin protein has a reported amino acid length of 147 and an expected mass of 15.9 kDa. The protein may also be known as attR, Prealbumin, CTS, TBPA, epididymis luminal protein 111, and CTS1. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
