Anti-TGT antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TGT antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the USP14 gene, which encodes ubiquitin specific peptidase 14. This protein is known to function in chemical synaptic transmission and innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of TGT has a canonical amino acid length of 494 residues and a protein mass of 56.1 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. TGT is a member of the Peptidase C19 protein family.
