Anti-Tect2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Tect2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TCTN2 gene, which encodes tectonic family member 2. This protein is known to function in cilium assembly, among other biological roles. The human version of Tect2 has a canonical amino acid length of 697 residues and a protein mass of 76.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus and fallopian tube. Tect2 is a member of the Tectonic protein family. Indicated applications for Tect2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
