Anti-TTLL8 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tubulin tyrosine ligase like 8. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 850 amino acid residues and a mass of 94.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. TTLL8 is known to be involved with cilium assembly. Synonyms for this target antigen include tubulin tyrosine ligase-like family, member 8, tubulin--tyrosine ligase-like protein 8, and protein monoglycylase TTLL8. TTLL8 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. ELISA is a widely used application for the TTLL8 antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
