Anti-MAK16 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MAK16 homolog. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 300 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is a member of the MAK16 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include NNP78, RNA binding motif protein 13, RNA binding protein, and protein MAK16 homolog. MAK16 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the MAK16 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
