Anti-FVT1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FVT1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the KDSR gene, which encodes 3-ketodihydrosphingosine reductase. This protein is known to function in the metabolism of lipids, among other biological roles. The human version of FVT1 has a canonical amino acid length of 332 residues and a protein mass of 36.2 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include DHSR and EKVP4. Indicated applications for FVT1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
