Anti-SPINK8 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein serine peptidase inhibitor Kazal type 8 (putative). In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 97 amino acid residues and a mass of 10.8 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. SPINK8 is a suspected serine protease inhibitor. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include serine protease inhibitor Kazal-type 8. SPINK8 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the SPINK8 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
