Anti-p34 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the p34 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GTF2H3 gene, which encodes general transcription factor IIH subunit 3. This protein is known to function in DNA repair and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of p34 has a canonical amino acid length of 308 residues and a protein mass of 34.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. p34 is a member of the TFB4 protein family.
