Anti-JAZ antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the JAZ antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ZNF346 gene, which encodes zinc finger protein 346. This protein is known to bind with low affinity to dsDNA and ssRNA, and with high affinity to dsRNA, with no detectable sequence specificity. The human version of JAZ has a canonical amino acid length of 294 residues and a protein mass of 32.9 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as Zfp346. Western Blot is the most common application for the JAZ antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
