Anti-MS4A13 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein membrane spanning 4-domains A13. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 152 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the MS4A protein family, MS4A13 is suspected to be involved in signal transduction as a component of a multimeric receptor complex. Synonyms for this target antigen include testis-expressed transmembrane protein 4, testis-expressed transmembrane-4 protein, and membrane-spanning 4-domains subfamily A member 13. MS4A13 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the MS4A13 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
