Anti-SGK antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene SGK1, or 'serum/glucocorticoid regulated kinase 1' in humans. The 431-amino acid protein is a member of the Protein kinase superfamily, AGC Ser/Thr protein kinase family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic, nuclear, mitochondrial and membrane-associated.
