Anti-MKP5 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MKP5 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DUSP10 gene, which encodes dual specificity phosphatase 10. This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell migration and the regulation of cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of MKP5 has a canonical amino acid length of 482 residues and a protein mass of 52.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as MKP-5. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for MKP5 antibodies.
