Anti-LGALS9B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein galectin 9B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 356 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.7 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the stomach, rectum, gallbladder, colon, and appendix. LGALS9B is known to bind galactosides. Synonyms for this target antigen include galectin-9 like, galectin-9 pseudogene, galectin-9-like protein A, lectin, galactoside-binding, soluble, 9B, and gal-9B. Western Blot is the most common application for the LGALS9B antibodies listed below. ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
