Anti-TMEM120B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 120B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 339 amino acid residues and a mass of 40.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. A member of the TMEM120 protein family, TMEM120B is known to be involved with fat cell differentiation. TMEM120B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA is the most common application for the TMEM120B antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
